2022 Shiraz Cabernet
Hardy’s Stamp of Australia 2022 Shiraz Cabernet is a wine that doesn’t just miss the mark, it flies off in the complete opposite direction. It has flavors of mulberry, cherry, and plum, but these are spoiled by a harsh and dry finish that makes it hard to enjoy.
The smell, meant to be complex and appealing, often feels fake and overpowering, lacking the subtle charm that makes a wine great.The 2022 version, with its attractive dark color, doesn’t deliver on its promise. The flavors are jumbled, and the wine feels flat and boring.
The taste of the wine itself is not very exciting. It feels too dry and rough, which, along with its bland smell and uninspired taste, makes it hard to recommend.
It’s a wine that, despite its promising description, doesn’t measure up to better options. If you’re looking for a red wine that’s really enjoyable, you might want to pass on this one. We won’t be getting it again
