I’m looking for a good coffee in Penticton and it’s the off season.
I found Atomic Coffee on Main St. It looks like a really cool vibe. So I walked the 15 minutes from the hotel over there and found, contrary to the info from a Google search, that it was closed.
So I walked back to the hotel because Sociale, is just a couple doors down.
Well we aren’t sitting outside this morning, if you are here on a nice day they have a great patio with a beautiful view of the lake right across the street.
But like I’m finding in many other spots in Penticton this weekend, don’t expect anything to happen in a hurry. It’s almost like they live on Mexican time here in the winter.
Fortunately the coffee was worth the wait.
Good flavor in the espresso and it was well balanced with a correct proportion of phone. And pretty reasonably priced at $6.82 for a large, including the tip.
