its Christmas Eve. I’ve worked 3 hours overtime the last two days. So ya, I’m not cooking.
Tried ordering a pizza. Ludica is closed.
Tried going for Italian. Piva is closed.
Not into sushi tonight. So what else us around? OSF.
Not the biggest fan to start with, but whatever.
And since everywhere else is closed it’s busy in here.
I could have cooked my own Bolognese at home in the time it took to get seated. When we were finally shown to a table we had to wait long enough to make another batch of Bolognese to place our order.
Can someone get me a beer please?
Finally I got some refreshment. A rather pleasant Cobblestone lager. Reminded me of Stella actually. The beer, not the stage play. Nice beer!
The usual salad included with your meal.
Not much to say here. Wasn’t terrible.
Merilynn is going with one of their specials right now. The Calabrian garlic shrimp.
So not a bad idea. Garlic shrimp with a little kick. Poor execution though. They overcooked the shrimp. Not to the point of being inedible but not great. Not unexpected in an establishment such as this. Don’t need to take any chances killing anyone with undercooked shrimp right?
I needed to carb load after my long day. Plus some protein. So spaghetti and meatballs was my choice. One of the few things I’d choose here actually.
Yet another dish that’s not terrible but you’re not going to tell your friends about either.
The spaghetti was cooked well I’ll say that. And the meatballs had good flavor but they definitely could use some more breadcrumbs to make them softer.
So OSF did tonight what it usually does. Won’t blow you away but won’t be terrible either.
