We walk by Begbie’s two rot three times a week.

We have thought about going in a few times but always decided against it.
Except for one night last month. But we couldn’t get a seat. Oh right. St. Patrick’s day.
Tonight though, there is no shortage of seats.
It was the burger and a beer for $20 that actually sealed the deal for us.

The deal includes the choice of a couple different beers and the Beg Mac Burger.
Doesn’t sound too bad right? What’s a burger meal deal at Raunchy Ron’s cost?
However I suspect the burger at Mickey D’s is better
The patty was overcooked, the onions overpowered all other flavours and the cheese rather tasteless. I really had a hard time finishing it. But the fries were good. Hot and crispy. That’s something at least.
The beef dip was much better. The sandwich anyway. It actually was very tasty.

The beef was lean, piled high and really tasty. The roll was fresh, not too chewy.
That salad not so much. Been sitting around too long and wilted away.
The service was a little slow, considering how empty it was in here. But I wouldn’t say bad, just not great.
Next time, if there is a next time, we will skip the burger and the salad and just have the Beef dip with fries.
Burger 3/10
Beef dip 7/10
