Fuggles Mango Street Wheat Ale: Undrinkable Slop
I wanted to like this one. A mango wheat ale at 4.9% sounds like an easy patio beer, and the can looked great. Then I opened it.
Yuk. Not a pleasant taste at all. I didn’t find the mango flavour all that pronounced, and more bitter than it should be.
I gave it a fair shot. I let it warm up a bit, then tried it ice cold, and it didn’t improve either way. By the halfway point I was just being stubborn, and the rest went down the sink.
For me this one’s a hard pass. It might appeal to hardcore wheat beer lovers. In my opinion, save your money and grab literally anything else from the cooler.
