Ok I have no idea how to pronounce the name of this restaurant. However I do know it’s very good Chinese food. Well western style Chinese food anyways.
Take out tonight so I apologize for the phoyos.
Wonton Soup

Not the greatest won ton. The broth was a bit bland and the won ton wrapper had a growing texture. Not sure if this was because they were sitting in the broth too long due to the extended delivery time as it was coming from Surrey. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt though and assume at the restaurant it would be better.
Pork Spring Rolls

Nice and crispy, even after the hour it took to get here. Really great pork flavour too.
Pork Fried Rice

Shredded Chicken Chow Mein

Often stir fried noodles can be greasy but these were not. The sauce had a good balance of savor and umami and the dish and a decent amount of chicken.
Dai Ching Chicken

I was looking for a King Pow dish to throw a little kick into the meal but they don’t seem to have that. Must not be regional. This came up as an alternative and while I enjoyed it Kung Pow is definitely my preference. It certainly could have been spicier. I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Prawns and Peas

Sauteed prawns with snap peas, carrots, baby corn and water chestnuts in a great tasting sauce. They manage to cook the shrimp really well and the peas had a decent crunch to them too.
Overall very good Chinese food. I think Neptune seafood House is a step above but this is pretty good compared to a lot of the crap Chinese food around.
