Similar to Rum balls, but completely different, these are a great treat that packs a good kick.
Ingredients:
180 grams roasted unsalted pecans
130 grams ladyfingers
120 grams powdered sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
6 tablespoons bourbon
Method:
Combine pecans and ladyfingers in a food processor and pulse until it’s a coarse sandy texture.
Add powdered sugar, cocoa and salt and pulse.
Add Bourbon and maple syrup and pulse until combined.
Place in a bowl and into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.
Remove from refrigerator and form into bite size balls and return to refrigerator to chill.
Roll in sending sugar to decorate and enjoy.
