Cactus Club In Coquitlam.

Four things from tonight.

1. The vibe is great.
2. The Spaghetti Portofino is excellent.
3. The Whiskey Sour is done properly, with egg whites.
4. The Creme Brulee is quite good. (needs more vanilla)

Excuse the crappy pictures it’s pretty dark in here tonight.

I never find too many things to complain about that Cactus Club.

It’s now becoming a big corporate chain but so far they’re maintaining consistency and quality.

Let’s see if it stays that way.

I do like a fruity beer in the summer. Yes I know, summer is over. But hey it’s 20° out there right now.

Not sure I like this one though.

It does have a nice golden color and pours a nice head, but the pineapple flavor isn’t forward enough for me. If you’re going to drink a fruit beer you want some real fruit flavour right?

I noticed the head disappeared very quickly from my glass.

I got a variety pack with peach and mango in it as well. I imagine I will like those better.

Not a fan of the pineapple.
