So dinner before beers with the boys.
Ok Korean chicken isn’t high on my list, but buddy wants to go so let’s check it out.
First up the fries.
Not entirely sure what’s all on these but the slightly sweet flavour is really different. And really good. Not normally a huge fry guy but I ate up all of these.
We got two varieties of chicken.
Soy Green Onion.
Nice, crispy brown meat with a salty, garlicky soy glaze piled high with tasty green onions. The saltiness paired with the slightly pungent green onion was excellent. The chicken was juicy, cooked very well.
Also on the menu was the Bacon Spinach chicken.
With tomatoes and onions this dish had a more complex, and more complete taste.
The chicken was cooked perfectly again. Nice and crispy, salty with the bacon and a slightly pungent onion flavour. And the tomatoes added a nice splash acidity.
So yeah, while Korean chicken isn’t usually my favorite today’s chicken was excellent.
I’d almost put it on par with what I consider to be the best Korean chicken, Cocoru in Richmond.
