New West BC
Nestled in a little corner shop, Quayside in New West, is Craft Café. Some of you might remember this spot as the original location of Angelina’s.
Today was our second visit. The first time we were here we only had lattés, which were very good.
However I am on a quest to find New West’s best breakfast and today was Craft Café’s turn.
I’ve seen some posts online about their brunch and the photos looked pretty good. Do not expect a large selection when you come though. There were a couple sandwiches and the one brunch option on the menu.
Pretty decent looking plate. All that and two lattes for $25. Looks like a pretty good deal.
But does the taste live up to the price?
In a word, yes.
In a bunch of words….
The eggs were well cooked with runny yolks. The bacon crispy. The waffle moist and tasty with real syrup. The potatoes were crunchy goodness.
Notice I didn’t say anything there about the sausage. Maybe I’ll keep it that way and just say get extra bacon instead of sausage.
And that’s a pretty latte with great taste.
That plate was big enough for us to share.
So overall I think we did quite well for our $25.
Now the question is, how does it rank on the list of New West’s best breakfasts? That list isn’t quite complete yet but it’s probably close to the top.
Food 8/10
Lattés 9/10
