Our last visit here, for which some reason I did not review, wasn’t great. I most definitely should have noted my experience.
On that occasion they were having issues with a supplier and I had this terrible bun with the beef dip. I mean awful. Spongey it was. Ick.
So before I ordered today I made sure to ascertain the bread situation regarding the beef dip before placing my order.
So the demi baguette was nice and crispy, but that was about the best thing I could say about this sandwich today.
The beef had a food texture but not much flavour. And there was too much mustard. And not enough garlic.
For what ends up being an $18 sandwich I think it’s not unfair to expect better.
We had actually gone out of our way about 15 minutes to eat here today. So that makes is a double disappointment.
Not sure I’ll be back. 2 strikes in a row. Time to try another sandwich shop.
