Burnaby BC
Well after giving the casino a few bucks this morning we both needed some food.
A quick search of Google found the One Way Cafe.
It’s buried in an industrial park in east Burnaby, map it if you want to try here. I’ll bet it gets pretty busy during the week.
We ordered the ham Bennie. It comes with two sides, we had tomato soup and a salad.
It looks nice, and it was fine. No more than what I would expect for a place like this. I’m sure the Hollandaise was from a packet, it was quite bland. But the eggs were poached nice. The salad probably came out of a box very similar to the one we just purchased at Costco. Tomato soup was good, but nothing special.
For $20 a perfectly adequate breakfast.
Food 6/10
Ambiance 4/10
Service 5/10 (Counter service)
Overall 5/10
If your right by here it’s fine, but don’t go out of your way for the One Way Cafe.
