Coquitlam BC
A few of us from work got together for dinner tonight and since the new Cactus Club refused our reservation we headed over to the pizza joint.
If you follow my blog you know I’m usually a fan of Famoso. Tonight wasn’t very good though. I’m guessing mostly due to the size of our party.
This is the Quattro Formaggi.
Fior do latté, smoked mozzarella, Gorgonzola and Grana Padano.
I think if I had got it anytime before 10 minutes after it had come out of the oven it would have been really good.
Since it was barely warm when I got it I’ll leave it to your imagination as to how much the cheese had coagulated and separated. The crust, once crisp, was now a soggy, greasy mess.
I can only assume they wanted to serve the whole table at once and since there were 10 of us it would be rather difficult to time all of those orders. Which to me says “don’t go out to a restaurant with a large group.”
From what I heard from the others in our party they enjoyed their food. Maybe I’m just too picky…..

I will commend the service. Any time my cola got halfway empty, (halfway full?) it was immediately filled by our server.
