Ok it’s beena few years since I’ve been here. 7 actually.
I know this because the last time I was here this restaurant was called Lorenzo’s.
Apparently it’s still in the same family, just had to change the name I guess.
So I assumed that quality would have remained roughly the same as when I was here last. Perhaps the chefs had a bad day. Perhaps I am just not willing to accept Tex-Mex food anymore. Perhaps my expectations of what good quality Mexican food are have changed. Whatever the case I really wasn’t happy with my meal.
This is their version of Heuvos Rancheros. It’s my version of yuk.
Kinda looks like someone threw up on my plate.
There are eggs in there. Somewhere. And they were alright. Everything else though, Yuk.
Sauce was bland and runny. Beans were bland. Cheese was bland. Tortillas. On the side. Never even got that far. But they were tortillas. I’ll bet they were bland.
So I think that’s gonna be it for me and crummy Mexican restaurants. When there are more authentic places like Bordertown Mexican Grill in Blaine or La Taqueria Pinche in Vancouver why waste my money for subpar Mexican food?
Food 4/10 (At least it didn’t make me sick)
Ambiance 4/10 (Looks like every other Tex-Mex restaurant I’ve been in)
