The Tapa Bar

Victoria Crawl stop 2

No plans for our next stop so we just start strolling along til we come upon Trounce Alley. The first thing that hits you when you enter Trounce Alley is that it is a cute little street with shops and restaurants. The second thing that hits you is the smell of urine. The third thing that hits you is the thought that you should sit inside to eat.

Seems like a perfect spot for stop # 2.

As we are finding out so far Saturday night seems to be pretty busy as far as eating out goes. We don’t have a reservation but they’ll sneak us in if we can be out in a hour. (Remember the table drama at our last stop? Same issue)

For a drink I went floral. Pisco Lavender Sour.

Beautiful floral notes from the lavender.. The sour not too sour, just right. And the same smoothness that egg whites give to a whiskey sour.

Grilled Chorizo with a mustard aioli for our Appy this stop.

Ya I wouldn’t have minded a spicier chorizo, but it was still great. And the mustard aioli a nice compliment.  And it was $6.

And it didn’t smell like pee inside!
