Victoria Crawl stop 3
Nubo was recommended to us by our server at Tapa Bar, along with another spot, so off we go to discover which one we run into first. Nubo it was.
The cocktail I settled on was the Toki Punch.
Think adult Hawaiian Punch and you got the idea. The Japanese whiskey was nice.
Merilynn has the Shiso Mojito.
I liked, as did she. Shiso is a Japanese herb that you will start to see more and more. It’s in the same family as mint, so it works well in a mojito.
Gyoza for our Appy.
These were really good, comparable to Joey’s gyoza. I though the acidity of the sauce worked really well with the dish. And while it looks pretty sitting in the bottom of the dish, it did take away from the crunch of the gyoza.
Another good stop on our crawl.
