We are getting the Angus filet. Who in their right mind would pay $370 for a steak?
What a beautiful steak this is. And ok it wasn’t cheap, but it sure wasnt $370. And of course you know in a quality place like this it’s going to be cooked right. Beautiful char on the outside, and beautifully medium rare.
Asparagus for a side, with a beautiful remoulade. The tarragon really made this dish.
Gin martini with a twist.
And to finish things off they treated us to their butter cake. I’ve never had this before. It’s pretty rich and buttery, but the fresh fruit cuts through that richness and really livens it up. I’m gonna try this myself soon.
What a beautiful evening under the blue sky eating incredible food. A wonderful birthday treat.
