Off to lunch!
Chinese today. I started perusing what is a very extensive menu. Only to find out that my friends menu was a different menu altogether. The selection on one of these menus is mindboggling, never mind two. Considering the variety on both menus we did manage to decide on a meal relatively quickly. The lunch special for two.
Its pretty good value. Soup, potstickers, beef and broccoli and chicken chow mein, all for $38.

That photo doesn’t give you an idea of the size of the serving bowl. That’s 4 good bowls of soup. Really nice, sweet corn with shredded chicken. I love the texture the egg gives it.

Pretty standard potstickers. Boiled then fried. Chicken inside. I can eat a ton of these.

Beef and broccoli. YUK! The beef was chewy. And what else do I need to say about the green. Evil weed.

Chicken chow mein with bean sprouts. I sure do prefer the thin noodle here. They do make one of the better chow meins around, however I prefer the crispy noodle version. Still delicious.
Overall a good meal (skipping the beef dish) and we had a good laugh impressing the waitress with our chop stick skills. Maybe a lot of Caucasians that come in here ask for forks lol.
