Taco Time!
No not that crappy quasi Mexican food that some of you know.
The Taco Factory is, as far as I can tell, pretty authentic.
Freshly fried chips and fresh Pico de Gallo. Which is excellent. Though where’s the heat? Easily fixed by the addition of some hot sauce. You know it’s got some kick when the sauce makes your voice break.
Then a couple tacos.
Pescado and Carnitas for me. Other than the fish being fried, which was still good, these are pretty close to what I’ve had on the street in Mexico. I do prefer grilled fish but not complaining. And the Carnitas were moist and delicious. You get two tortillas per taco as is the tradition.
I also had Jamaica, which is a cold tea brewed from Hibiscus leaves. Really yummy!
To finish things off we had a hot sauce challenge. Spicy!
Really good food here. I’d put it on par with Bordertown Mexican Grill.
