Another neopolitan pizza place here in New West.
Simple pepperoni this time.
Undercarriage was good, but personally I like it crispier. Maybe a touch more salt in the crust too. A little bland. They use a sourdough crust here.
The sauce was fresh tasting, but had occasional very sweet parts that didn’t quite fit. I think that was the hot honey. It wasn’t hot. Unless they mean temperature, not spicy. Whatever, it didn’t add to the pizza.
The pepperoni was not the best pepperoni I’ve ever had either. And not enough of it. Maybe pepperoni should be left to a New York Style?
But even with the all component parts not being the greatest, funnily enough it all came together to make a decent tasting pizza.
I don’t think I’ll order the pepperoni again, but the pizza was good enough to give L’Onore another try.
