Yay my Nexus card came. But whoops, forgot to activate it. The CBP guard was nice enough to let us on though. Phew!

Been wanting to try the Birria, I haven’t had it since I had street food in Puerto Vallarta a few years back.

Now my friend from Mexico said that it’s totally wrong to serve it with rice and beans. Should be in a tortilla, which is an option at BMG, but I love their beans so out with tradition!

This was really awesome. It’s a slow cooked stew, in Jalisco it would be made from goat, but in Blaine it’s beef. Has some dried chilis but isn’t too spicy. Feels just like I’m on a street in the old town of Puerto Vallarta. Geez I better get back to Mexico soon.
