Port Coquitlam BC
I’ve patronized the Gillnetter many times before. It’s always been a good experience. If you haven’t been here before you need to check out the patio. I can’t think of too many better places to sit and enjoy a cold libation than on the deck at the Gillnetter
After a rather disappointing visit to Frankie G’s last week we were in the mood for some good pub grub and a view, neither of which Frankie G’s provided.
The Gillnetter has a beautiful view overlooking the Pitt River. And the food rarely disappoints.
On the menu today was bacon and eggs for me, and a crab/shrimp Eggs Benny for her.
Ok, so the bacon and eggs were nothing to write home about. It’s just bacon and eggs right? Safe.

However the benny was excellent.

Soft eggs, good Hollandaise, only made better by the spot we were sitting at.
If you want to get a spot on the deck go early, it fills up quickly.
Food 8/10
Ambiance 10)10
Overall 9/10
You can get more cold libations at the liquor store on the way out…..
